To achieve all of that, du has launched a multi-year Greenfield Transformation Program.

The target state for the Program is to transform and enhance current business, technical and organizational capabilities and build new ones required to succeed tomorrow and in the years to come.

 

du is structuring its Program across the following: Business readiness, Technical readiness, Organization & Process readiness and Business Transformation / Program Management Office.

CPC [centralized product catalog] and OM [order management] are fundamental building blocks for the definition of business products [consumer, business, etc.] and rapid go-to-market product launches. The position that is sought will be responsible for target architecture of centralized product catalog and catalog driven order management solution.

 

 

 

As part of the GF Business Transformation, we are aiming for a transformation within 3 key areas:

 

 

 

  • Business: Advanced business capabilities, new revenue streams, new business models, enabling business autonomy, time-to-market, …

  • Technology: Resilient and flexible IT architecture, Innovation & adoption of emerging technologies, vendor partner effectiveness, …

The key purpose of the role is to have a go-to person for product modelling and customer order management for consumer/enterprise and fixed/mobile propositions. By extension the role also includes the introduction of 3rd party non-telco product bundling.

The role entails working closely with the Digital, Customer Experience and Product & Portfolio Management teams to design and deliver the MVP products. The person taking on the role will also be expected to work on the product portfolio rationalization and simplification program.

The role is expected to be 50:50 technical and business facing. 

 

Key deliverables:

  1. Define target solution, technology selection, integration points

  2. Define all phases & track what needs to be implemented supporting and aligned with business launch phases

  3. Product definition meta-models and order management fulfillment flows. Where necessary extend to assurance flows

  4. Scope the tracks and hand-over to implementation teams to deliver

  5. Legacy and new stack co-existence

  6. Contractual scope documents

  7. High level design artefacts & approvals

  8. With vendors and delivery teams: LLD artefact generation and approvals

  9. Define & design according to integration KPIs

Technology strategy and vision, technology roadmaps, technology maturity review, design assurance & technical governance

           

Milestones:

M1 -            Completion of initial technical scope of work documents, integration touchpoints for inclusion into TCO analysis

M2 -            Align solution with Segment phasing and product portfolio. Scope CPC and COM solution accordingly

M3 -            Finalize selection of RFP vendor

M4 -            Closure of detailed technical and non-technical scope documents especially related to integration – contractually binding engagements

M5 -            Define delivery tracks for implementation team to undertake in alignment with e2e program

M6 -            Multi-phase launch plans/go-live are strictly adhered to for your specific track

Responsibilities:

  • With an in-depth understanding of all aspects of the CPC & COM, designs the target CPC/COM architecture, product modelling and how these systems interact/integrate with target systems

  • Supports parallel business transformation tracks such as financial business case, customer experience and product portfolio / rationalization

  • Defines product, service and resource specifications for complex B2C & B2B business offerings

  • Architects Mobile & Fixed Fulfillment processes spanning across BSS/OSS systems and partners

  • Delivers solutions related to complex Order Tracking & Tracing, Delta Order Provisioning, In-flight order amendments, Dynamic Fulfillment plan generation, Product versioning, Product Lifecycle Management, Contract Lifecycle Management, Catalogue-driven order capture & fulfillment

  • Ensures all key components are correctly architected covering RFS, CFS, and Product Specification so that the commercial teams can rapidly create and launch product offerings and have flexible product models

  • Ensures there is a high degree of flexibility and re-usable CPC services / components and OM capabilities to define target offers and fulfillment flows

  • Converts business processes in fulfillment OM designs and works with Enterprise Architects and Integration Architects to specify integration points

  • Signs off on the SoW, integration specifications and works with the vendor(s) on the detailed design alignment and sign-off

  • Accountable and responsible for the successful scoping of the go-live solution and ensures all target design timelines are strictly adhered to

  • Defines all phases and tracks what needs to be implemented; scopes the tracks and hands over to implementation teams to deliver

  • Contributes to the Greenfield RFP vendor selection and definition of target application, information, integration, data architecture and transition phases of the roadmap with the other domain architects

  • Authors the contractual technical scope of work with selected vendor(s) an is expected to contribute to the definition of the non-technical scope

  • Member of Design authority and formalizes the approval process for high level designs and deliverables

Ensures delivery teams adhere to designs and architecture captured in the Enterprise Architecture (EA) repository

Technical Skills (Required): 

  • Product modelling & catalog driven Order Management: design and implementation

  • Well versed with leading industry pre-integrated fulfillment solutions comprising CPC/OM/CPQ for managing Mobile, Fixed, Wholesale, IOT, M2M, ICT products

  • You will be an expert in CPC and COM solutions and will know how to build business products in IT systems. Experienced in products such as covering the domains of Order care and catalog designer. Desirable in any of following products: Netcracker CPQ CPC and OPF [COM fulfillment framework], Ericsson CPQ catalog manager & Order care [CPC/COM], Huawei CPQ UPC & COM, Sigma systems CPQ/CPC/COM

  • Product modelling & configuration/implementation is mandatory: Product modelling: commercial offers, product propositions, product bundling, product specification, product components, service component; Technical product implementation: creation of actual propositions and implementation of actual customer facing services and resource facing services

  • CPQ and CPC exposure and integrated to channels and journeys

  • Demonstration of CPQ knowledge is important as it is closely integrated with CPC/COM

  • Demonstration of CIM knowledge is also important as it is also closely integrated with CPC/COM

  • Good experience in TMFORUM SID modelling is required
